HIRING IMMEDIATELY, EXPERIENCED MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN TO PERFORM MULTIPLE TASKS FOR APARTMENT BUILDINGS IN MULTIPLE AREAS.
We're looking for a Skilled Maintenance Technician with 3+ years of experience in performing apartment maintenance that knows how to troubleshoot, solve and then repair the problem.
General duties include completing maintenance requests, clearing and repairing units in apartment complexes between occupancies, performing renovations on properties, maintaining and general upkeep such as painting, clearing drainpipes, carpet repair, landscape upkeep and hauling garbage, and other duties as assigned.
Technician must have:
1) Own tools such as:
Basic carpentry tools, miter saw, jig saw, levels, tape measures, stud finder. Basic plumbing tools --screw drivers, basin wrench, pliers, socket set for removing bathroom stems from showers, copper sweating tools, pipe wrenches, crow bars. Basic plastering tools, trowels, mud pan, drop clothes. Basic electrical tools to test stove, oven, refrigerator and electrical sockets. Battery power drill, saws-all, circular saw.
2) Own work vehicle:
3) Experienced in basic plumbing:
Repair and/or replacing , toilets, kitchen or bathroom washers, seats, stems or faucets, shower values, seats, stems, handles, washers, garbage disposal, sinks, and all PVC plumbing under sinks. Sweat copper occasionally. Repair or replace water heater.
4) Experienced in basic Carpentry:
Repair closet doors and only replace if absolutely necessary. Repair or replace front door, bedroom door, bathroom door, door jambs, molding, hinges, cabinet hinges, repair or replace cabinet shelf under kitchen sink if needed. Replace broken windows.
5) Experienced in basic Plastering/Texturing:
Fast and efficiently repair holes in walls, doors, ceilings and have tools to make a smooth and finished patch.
6) Good understanding in Stove and Refrigerator repairs.
