Blood pressure is the pressure excreted by the blood on the blood vessels in which it flows. It is more prominent in the arteries than the veins. When the pressure excreted by the blood on the blood vessels is more than normal then it is termed as hypertension or high blood pressure, and when it is lower than normal it is termed as hypotension or low blood pressure.
